Its in neutral and when i kick it up into first nothing is happening it doesn't feel the way it normally does too. Its a honda 50 cc dirt bike and i want to know maybe why this is happening because i was just riding it fine for a good half hour and then it stopped working.

well this is what happened to me when i did a wheelie not evan long and i landed and it poped something out that puts it in drive i had to replace it witch was 300$ which is alot so i guess the same happened to you!!

I have a honda 50 cc dirt bike and when i kick it into first gear it doesn't make the normal sound it usually does and something feels different when i do it but when i kick it back into neutral everything feels like its back to normal. i sometimes have that problem. You have to give a VERY solid kick when you are shifting up to first or down. if not you will be almost in first, but the gears will be grinding. Also, dont really force it too much because you could bend a shift fork.

Alright, so I was riding and on the bar where you press down to change gear, it started bending back and forth and then snapped off whenever I tried to change gears. Can anyone tell me what this thing is called and where to buy it? It's the little thing on where you change gears, it sticks out and its like cylinder shaped.

I have a 98 100XR Honda, its in pretty good shape I've only ridden it about 4 times. I also have all the gear to go with it, matching, I'm wondering how much would be a good price to sell the bike for and how much to sell the gear for? The gear has a matching bag as well. Thanks!
