hi i was wondering what are some good dirt bikes out there that can hold someone over 220lbs and growing and that is fast so im not just puttin along. i would probaly mostly ride it on the street around the neigborhood and not so much on dirt. its also gotta be cheap i cant really say a price range but not more then 1000. is it just better for me to try to get a dirt bike later when i have more money and spend this money on my camaro? thanks.

for $1000 you can't expect to get much. If you saved up around $9000 you could get a very good, fast, reliable bike that would last you for years. If you really wanted a bike and couldn't wait you could look at getting a chinese brand or a used bike but don't expect it to last for 10 years.

I need to find a dirt-bike i can ride at 16. Iwas looking at an Aprilia RX-50 but they are all over £2000. I need one thats around £1000, (Like $1200)

Any ideas?
The bike has to be 50cc or it isnt legal at 16.

Spend as little as you can on a 2001 or up Honda and use the rest of your dough on big boy suspension, taller bars, and tall seat.

These RM80 look good, but are they what they say they are? Why are they so dang cheap!! I found like 5 and they like 800 bucks are they really good or just bad dirt bikes?

Well said mx girl. The 2 strokes like the rm80 and in fact any of the bikes like the cr80 or yz80 are much older bikes and that will dictate the price. They are not something anyone would bother with if they intended to race as against the newer version 85cc 2 strokes they are outdated and really not going to be competitive. In their time they were great little bikes but things have moved on since then and now they are outdated.

I would like to buy a dirt jumping bike for flying jumps and trying tricks. The catch is, im really on a budget, i can only spend about $200-$250 for the bike. What kinda bike would you recommend that is avalible to buy online, or has stores in newfoundland, canada? thanks.

i would get a haro basically cuz thats the best u can get for that price or if ur willing to go to $300 get a 2 hip forcedown and take off the pegs
