Forget about their fashion or anything to do with their appearance because they are their own person and may have different believes or values to you. I didn't let my kids get piercings or tattoos either. Of course, when my daughters turned 18, they both did it. They both recently got the Monroe as well. I dont like it, but they are adults. As far as the more than one friend over, that is a matter of opinion and what you are comfortable with in your house. I never had a problem, I also don't have 7 kids. I would just check on them alot. Seems to me that you are being a parent. Too many parents try too hard to be their kids friends and that is a huge mistake.
