How can I deal with my 16 year old little brother?

I'm a guy who's 17 and has a little brother who's 16.

My brother steals cheques from my parents and gives them to his friends who can forge cheques for drugs. He also looks in every pocket of every piece of clothing in the house for money, he's stolen over $20,000 and even pawned my parents' wedding rings to buy weed, cocaine, oxy-contins, cigarettes, and basically anything he can get his hands on. He steals every day, and every day my parents let him get away with it. All they do is yell at him and threaten to call the cops, but they never do. They've put the same "I'm going to call the cops" threat on him at least 20 times in the past 3 months!
Sometimes he pulls out knives from the drawer and threatens us, but mostly just throws things like puddings at us and windex in my eyes when we catch him doing something he's not supposed to.

As his brother, I have to put up with him stealing juices from the fridge, bringing all the food upstairs to his room, eating half of it, and leaving a bunch of wasted food and nothing for me to eat. My parents don't really care about this, unfortunately. They only tell me "If you want food, you need to get a job and buy your own, we shouldn't have to pay for your <s word>!"

I can't get a job because I have problems with untreated depression that make work too tiring for me to handle, so I can't buy food.

My parents buy my brother all sorts of things like snowmobiles and dirt-bikes and so on quite often, and only sometimes is my dad nice enough to buy me something online like a hard drive WITH MY MONEY because I'm not old enough for a credit card...

Recently I've had thoughts of strangling my brother and killing him, but I know that's wrong....so what should I do to make stuff right? :'(
Oh and he's been to rehab twice for a month each time.
So far none of these solutions are able to work for me, I can't sit my brother down, he'll just try to attack me. I tell my parents what he does and they just say "so? You don't have a job, go get one and stop mooching money off us!"

They don't care about anything I have to say, I've told them I'll call the cops if I have to and they just say "okay go ahead, they won't do anything"

And I can't get a job I know everyone's going to say something negative to me like quit being lazy but I've tried to get one. I've gone through training for a few jobs and by the time I get to starting it I'm so depressed I just call home and when I get home I cry...

well... in your case... only the parents can solve this kind of problem because your lil' bro is very spoiled... why won't you just focus on your own so that when you turn 18 you will know how to stand on your own. PROMISE this brother of yours won't have a good future. Your parents won't live forever all of us has to die. When that time comes... believe me this brother of yours can't Stand on his own. Just work hard. my motto: "I STRIVE TO SURVIVE" (something like that)

If your thinking in reporting the situation to your cops...

Good IDEA......
- You can help the government.
- You can help your parents how to control their son. (not really)
- You can help your brother to be discipline.
- You can have what you want in house.
- Your parents won't suffer in MONEY.
- You won't be getting problems any more.

Bad IDEA.......
- Your parents will get angry.
- Your parents will be full of sorrow.
- There's a possiblity that he will have REVENGE on you. (which is dangerous)
- You can be beaten up by his gang... (stuffs like that)

Don't try risking your life.
Only parents can solve this problem because they created this problem.
But they don't know what to do because they have a GREAT LOVE for their spoiled son. (talking about your brother) thats why they are just leaving the situation it in THAT situation.
