Ok so I am a 23 yr old guy from So. Cal. and I am labeled as what every one here considers is a bro. Dickie pants, any shirt from no fear pretty much, rides dirt bikes, smokes weed and has tats. that's a bro.
Now back in the day when I was in 7th n 8th grade is where I started wearing dickie’s and no fear shirts n stuff like that. Back then u weren’t considered a “bro” it was just clothes that I loved to wear.
In high school i rode dirt bikes when I could with my buddies smoked here n there I mean its high school u know and when I turned 18 I got tattoos because my dad had some and I loved them.
So my style hasn’t really changed at all but cuz I still have this syle and this new label has come about im now considered a “bro”.
Now my question…does this syle turn u girls off right away?
Some of these girls I meet never even give me a chance to get to know them or get to kno me for that matter. Im a great guy with an awesome job, great values and I know that women should be treated with respect. Im really thinking about changing my style cuz I think some girls look at me and are like hes an ass, just by the label im put into and they haven’t even hung out to even see. Im just trying to find an awsome girl that will get to kno me for me and not by my clothes i wear.
Personally, Im attracted to a "bro" I guess. I think the slick guys in the nice cars and the ugg boots are more likely to cheat on me. lol.
DO NOT CHANGE YOUR STYLE! There is someone for everyone and you shouldn't live your life as someone your not.
I'm 23 and I still wear neon rubber bracelets. If you dont like it, dont look at me. But I can assure you that I will be myself for the rest of my life.
Just make sure you keep your hair looking nice. If your low maintenance, keep it short. Trim up your facial hair. Just don't look like a dirty scrub bro

Well, I think that you have answered your own question. You should never have to change anything about you to make someone like you. What you wear might put you into a certain category, but really do you want to be with someone who is so quick to judge? If you want to change after you are together because YOU want to that is great, but not because someone else wants you to. It is not a turn off at all, and I am sure there are plenty of girls who like the bad boy dirt bike "bro" look. I dig guys who drag race LOL.

You don’t have to change anything about you at all in my opinion. I’ve been attracted to guys like that. It doesn’t matter what the person wears because when you find someone you have chemistry with, the clothes don’t matter. The chemistry does. Just be you and don’t change anything because "bros" are hot too.

You know what… if that’s what makes you happy (your style in clothing), then keep doing your thing… there are mad females, and they are all different… if one is really interested in you, she will not care what you wear…

and seriously if these girls wont even give you a chance just because of the clothes you wear or your style, then they’re probably not worth it. Its a part of who you are, you just need to find someone that will accept you, and that you can just be your self around. hope this helps

You sound pretty hot to me if all of that is the truth. You look like a bad boy but your not. Are you just fishing for complements here or is this actually a problem? You could change your look to impress a certain type of girl and your personality won’t change. It might actually be fun to try something new every once in a while. And if that’s the kind of girl you really want to be with then maybe it’s worth it but then she may expect you to be like that all of the time, and if you are not willing to do that then it isn’t worth putting on a facade. But I am sure y will find someone who excepts you the way you are eventually. Other wise my chances don’t look so great ha ha ha

Just try dressing a little more to impress. I don’t mean go down to your local hollister store and buy all the polo shirts you can find — but mainly just out the No Fear stuff. Find something that’s fashionable, but also something that you don’t feel like a poser in. Just adult-ify your clothes a bit…
