Depends on the bike. Usually it’s one down and four up but there are bikes that are one up and four down.

Are you serious?? First gear is strait down, then the next 4 gears are up. Neutral is right in the middle between 1st and 2nd.

ok. i u want to go to first gear hold in the clutch and put you foot on top of the gear and push down then let the clutch out. 2 3 and 4th put your foot under the gear and push up but only go up 1 gear at a time. neutral is Between 1 and 2 gear.

yeah, ussualy it goes like this…
push down as far as it will go until it doesnt click down anymore. thats first gear.
click up one time, and that is second, etc etc etc until u get to fifth (or how ever many gears your bike has)
to find neautral, go down to first gear, then push up very carefully about half a click. if you can roll your bike about underneath you without to much strength, you are in neutral.

Um you hold down the clutch, then one down for first and four or five up for the rest of the gears. The lower the slower.

1st gear is all the way down. To shift up, put your foot under the shifter and push the shifter all the way up. neutral is between 1st and 2nd. If your just cruising, use your clutch when you shift. If you are trying to go fast, you don’t need to use your clutch to shift, but it’s better for your trans if you use your clutch.

first gear is all the way down. always go back to nuetral when you kill the bike, that way you dont have to do the work when you want to start again. the rest of the gears are up. always use your clutch when you shift, it will kill your gears inside the transfer case in no time, cuz ur just slammin gears if u dont use the clutch
