Its in neutral and when i kick it up into first nothing is happening it doesn't feel the way it normally does too. Its a honda 50 cc dirt bike and i want to know maybe why this is happening because i was just riding it fine for a good half hour and then it stopped working.
well this is what happened to me when i did a wheelie not evan long and i landed and it poped something out that puts it in drive i had to replace it witch was 300$ which is alot so i guess the same happened to you!!

Didn’t know first was up, thought all bikes had first gear below neutral.
Anyway check your linkage it may be bent or just needs readjusting.
Disconnect it and see if you can shift it by hand.
If so reintall and adjust the linkage connection.
