No matter what you do with spray paint, its going to chip, peel or crack spraying on plastic…espcially on a dirt bike. Every pebble that hits it, is going to crack, or nick the paint. Heat from the exhaust will make it peel as well.

Good luck…you’re going to be going through a lot of cans trying.

Take them to an auto body shop and have them prime and paint them.They have specific paint for plastics for bumper covers

Even if you manage to get the paint to adhere successfully it is not going to last and will look awful the first time you put the bike down. If you want to improve the look of the bike invest in a nice graphics kits and some extra stickers for the guards. To make them last purchase clear backing plastic and put that over the graphics. Then at least when they get worn you can replace with another graphics kit. Chipped and scratched paint would just look awful
