Dirtbike Performance Parts?

I have a 97 Cr125 and am looking to buy some aftermarket parts: procircuit exhaust and reed cage.

Most places, even ebay, charge the same price, the pipe costs 200+ on most sites and the reed cages are 120+.

Anyone know of anywhere cheaper?

Buy a used pipe.

Reeds:
The difference in actual,real-world Gains in RIDING between replacing an entire Reed Cage Assy,,
and simply replacing the Reed PETALS is little-to-almost NONE.

Reed Petal swap is lots cheaper,
and usually "80%+" as effective in terms of Lap Times.
At 1/4 to 1/3 the cost.

You can also tweak stock reed assy and usually get about half the gain,,for Free.
But that's a whole nother story.

Take some of the cash you save and go re-gear the thing.

A $5 countershaft sprocket will blow away a $200+ Pipe on a LOT of racetracks.

With a little luck you can get a Pipe,Reeds,and a CS sprocket or 2 to get it dialed in,
for the price of just a New reed cage.

WAIT as late as you can,,,and BID the Freakin' $100 you would "normally and happily pay"

Reason why is most all bids have their Max "hidden".

Way late in the auction,,,with few or No Bidders,,,
a current Bidder may be SHOWING that $40 as the High Bid,,,,
but he MAY have a $75 High Limit.

If You bid $50 to beat that $40,,,,,
HIS $75 Hi Limit will Beat YOUR $50 Bid by $1 stinkin' dollar.

HE wins for $51

But if You bid the full $100 against his $75 Limit,,,
You'll beat him by $1,
You'll win for $76.

Chasing a Bid is almost a SURE way to lose an auction.

The RISK of bidding HIGH as You'd PAY,,,,
is:
a)You might win at the Max you'd pay ,,,for the full $100 in this example.
b)OR,,somebody beats you by $1,,at $101
But,Ya didn't wanna pay over $100 anyway.

Bidding LATE does not give YOU time to Chase the Bid,,get carried away,,and pay more from excitement than you wanted to.

And it also does SAME THING to the OTHER Bidders.
Keeps them from raising their bid 5 or 10$ just to beat you..

**Another thing,,,,if you happen to find an auction thats a few days old with NO BIDS on it yet,,,,
Email the Seller and ask if he would take a Set Price and end the auction early.

Be Fair,,,even Generous in your offer---as long as You feel You're still getting a worthwhile bargain.

I mean,,NOBODY is gonna sell you a $200 Valued Item,,,
for $15,,,just because they started the auction at $1 and it has no Bids yet.
See if Y'all can find a fair & Good Price for BOTH of y'all.

Many sellers WONT do it,,,that's fine.

Also realize there's a LEGIT way for Ebay Sellers to end their auction early.
And a "crooked way" which Ebay doesnt allow.
It's all in their rules.
Some casual Sellers do NOT know they can Legitimately End Early.
You can show them in the Rules,,it's plain & clear.
THAT might help swing a deal for you.

But dont NEVER ask anyone to do anything Crooked.
If a person is willing to burn Ebay,or other bidders to put a couple extra $$ in his pocket,,,
Would YOU wanna send that person YOUR $$$ and trust them?
