OEM is an anachronism for Original Equipment Manufacturer. That means the part came from the motorcycle maker or their supplier and was made to the manufacturers specification, in theory. There are unscrupulous suppliers that make a claim of being OEM or OEM equivalent and are not. "Regular dirtbike [sp] parts"? I have no Idea what that means.

there are two types of parts. OEM, which is the original equipment manufacturer. these are the stock parts that came on the bike. Then there are aftermarket parts. Just because it’s aftermarket doesnt mean it’s better though. These parts range from very low to very high quality.
