My older dirtbike needs the carb cleaned, so after I take it off what is the best way to clean it? I heard rinsing it with gas, but I know there are some cleaners out there. Do you know of any for a Dirtbike carb that can be purchaed at an auto parts store?
Oh yeah dude. Almost ANY car parts store carries these big one gallon metal paint can-like containers that have carburetor cleaner in them and a hanging metal tray for small parts. They costs about $15-35 a can. And they're totally re-usable. So one can will last a long time. BUT!!! Do not get the dark brown colored stuff!!! That stuff will eat aluminum!!!
