Spray WD40 around the carb & intake while the bike is running, if the RPMs go up or down, you have a leak. If not they may still be fouled up. What about the mixture? Was it adjusted correctly when replaced? (Screw all the way in, then back off 1&1/2 to 2 turns). What make and model? Adjust the mixture screw while it's idling(with the choke on) till it dies. Then with the choke off see if it starts up and will idle.
